Juana´s apartment is one block away from one of the most important avenues in the city: Corrientes Avenue. There you can find plenty of shops, restautants, banks, supermarkets, laundries, bus stops, subway stations, etc. In the area you will find the Abasto Shopping, great spot to do shopping.
Juana tells us more about her home: "The apartment is very spacious, 180m2. We are a couple of seniors, very discrete and polite. We have a nice living and dinning room, very comfortable. We have wifi in all the spaces. There are memories and pictures of all the family. I think there are good vibes in our home.. The guests we've had have always been very happy and we are still in contact with them today!"
Almagro is a nice and traditional mostly middle-class neighborhood of Buenos Aires.
It features strong commercial activity along its avenues, and has a high population density due to the many high-rise buildings erected along the railway line.
The National Technological University, one the most important public universities in the country specializing in engineering and exact sciences, is located in this neighbourhood.
Although many music and dance venues cater to all tastes, Almagro is a stronghold of tango. During his last years, composer and bandleader Osvaldo Pugliese relocated to Almagro and oversaw the creation of the Casa del Tango (Tango House) complex on Guardia Vieja street.
Among Almagro's residents of note were boxer Luis Angel Firpo, poet Alfonsina Storni, and physician and politician Juan B. Justo.
