The apartment is just meters from Plaza San Martin, one of the largest and most historical of the city. In it converge the Sheraton Hotel, the building Kavannagh (icon of architecture in Buenos Aires) and the largest skyscraper in Buenos Aires (and corporate economic zone) and the traditional Florida Street, one of the greatest tourist attractions and commercial of the city.
This zone is considered Buenos Aires´s financial center.
It also has the famous 9 de Julio Avenue, where it stands the obelisk (simbol of the city) and the busy Corrientes Avenue, with theaters, cinemas, book shops, cafes and restuarants.
San Martín Square is beautiful with its big trees and flowers, is filled with sun tanning students and office workers every weekday and surrounded by important buildings. Such as the Kavanagh (1936) wich is an important arquitectural symbol of the modern Buenos Aires.
Retiro is located in this zone aswell. It has a bus station with local and international buses, also a train and subway station.
