Laura´s apartment has an ideal location. The neighbourhood is residential but has lots of bussiness. Two blocks away from the apartment you can find the busy Cabildo Avenue. It´s a great commercial area: plenty of shops, banks, cafés, restaurants, book shops, etc.
Another advantage of the location is that it has many ways to travel. Along Cabildo Avenue you can find plenty of buses that take you along the city. Also three blocks away from the apartment there´s a subway station called Congreso de Tucumán (D Line).
Plus six blocks away you will find Nuñez train station (Mitre Line - Rama Tigre), that takes you to Retiro (downtown) or to Tigre (northern region of Buenos Aires).
Núñez is a neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. It is on the northern edge of the city on the banks of the Rio de la Plata.
The area is quite built-up with apartments and much commercial activity, especially along Avenida Cabildo and Avenida del Libertador. It has also a nice residential area with houses and phs with gardens.
There are two important squares: Plaza Balcarce and Plaza Félix Lima.
Between Avenida del Libertador and the shore, there are large areas of open space, where one finds sports clubs and recreational areas.
