Why you should choose Chacarita neighborhood

The uniqueness of Chacarita neighborhood lies in its cemetery, the biggest in Argentina, where important national figures such as Carlos Gardel, Alfonsina Storni, María Elena Walsh and others are buried. It is very interesting to visit and take pictures of the mausoleums designed by well-known artists. Once a month, a free guided tour is offered.

Another place to visit is Parque de los Andes, a green space where a crafts fair is set up on weekends.

What it's like living in Chacarita

As you move away from the heart of the neighborhood located near Federico Lacroze and Corrientes Avenues, you find peaceful streets lined with trees, old houses and new loft-style buildings.

The best thing about renting a room in Chacarita is the peacefulness of the neighborhood and its public transport connections to other parts of the city. It has two train stations: Estación Federico Lacroze (for the Urquiza line) and Estación Chacarita (for the San Martín line). It also has a station on the B Line of the subway. There is also an important dining scene with good trattorias and restaurants and the best pizzerias in Buenos Aires.
